Campo is the latest addition to the Ferreira Group. More relaxed, a bit rebellious and frankly casual, it has expanded the already considerable menu offerings at the Ferreira establishments, this time with traditional Portuguese chicken.
Participating in the birth of a brand
Polygraphe was invited from the very first to help define the new restaurant. Alongside the clients and architects, we established the main conceptual lines of the project and ensured rigorous consistency in its deployment. From the general look to wall dressing, interior signage, name, logo and the website, everything reflects a spirit of cohesion with the established DNA.
The writing is humorous, the imagery is playful and the mascot of a flaming chicken adorns the decor and printed pieces. All in a color palette that blends perfectly with BBQ sauce, meat grilled over the fire and full-bodied red wine. Some architectural details remind us of Portugal, but it is the meal itself that is an authentic reflection of the country.
Campo is a fast food offer, so customers spend little time there, hence the importance of developing a brand that attracts and pleases at first contact.
Even though it’s “fast food”, it is of high quality. Campo in Portuguese is a reference to the land, the fields. The chickens are grain fed and reared under good conditions. It is a way of honoring the Portuguese tradition and selling the quality of the Ferreira brand.
