The market for microbrewery products being increasingly saturated with highly charged, complex brand identities, we opted for simple, understated packaging for La Ferme’s range of products.
Brewing high quality beer from ingredients grown on their own land, La Ferme is committed to rigorous technique and a respect for tradition, while retaining a spirit of experimentation. This approach is what guided us in the creation of a brand identity system wherein a fixed grid—a blank page—accommodates more inventive imagery inspired by the tasting notes of various brews.
The logo is inspired directly by the outline of the brewery building, a modern day, monochrome black barn with minimalist lines, steadfast and solitary in the middle of a field. The lines that cut across its shape suggest a hop flower, and the image distantly evokes tractor wheel tracks.
